About Vino Rosso Tours
At Vino Rosso Tours, we specialise in crafting unforgettable experiences across the Southern Highlands, Kangaroo Valley, and surrounding areas. As locals, we have a deep connection to this region and are passionate about sharing its exceptional wineries, stunning landscapes, and vibrant communities with you.
Founded by Ross, who grew up in the Southern Highlands, Vino Rosso Tours began from his love of taking friends and colleagues on wine tours. Our philosophy is simple: we want every guest to feel like they’re being shown around by an old friend.
Our core offering includes private wine tours featuring over 20 winery cellar doors, breweries, and distilleries, designed to be fun, flexible, and tailored to your preferences. We also cater to corporate groups and larger parties, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.
As we expand, we’re excited to introduce our Kangaroo Valley Experience, aimed at international visitors eager to explore the heart of regional Australia. Our tours are enriched by our local relationships and intimate knowledge of the area, offering an authentic perspective that you won’t find anywhere else.
Based in the NSW Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley, we’re conveniently located about 1.5 hours from Sydney and Canberra, and just 45 minutes from Wollongong. The region boasts a unique climate with four distinct seasons—cold winters, vibrant springs, colourful autumns, and milder summers—making it a year-round destination.

My partner and I had a fabulous time on one of Ross’ social wine tours. Ross is the loveliest guy – had great local knowledge and funny stories – he had the perfect itinerary set up while also being super relaxed about timing / letting the group decide how we wanted the day to pan out. All of the stops were fabulous and the little surprises here and there were lovely. Highly recommend to anyone – we will definitely he back with a big group of friends in the future!

What an amazing day we had yesterday Ross made our day so relaxing and fun everything was organised from the glasses of sparkling when he picked us up to the beautiful cheese platter to being made to feel so special everywhere we visited with reserved seating VIP treatment
