Where are Vino Rosso Tours based?
We are based in the stunning Southern Highlands of New South Wales, approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney and Canberra, and 45 minutes from Wollongong.
What regions do your tours cover?
Our tours primarily cover the Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley regions, offering access to local vineyards, charming towns, and beautiful natural landscapes. We also can customise tours to include other wine regions such as the South Coast & Canberra.
What types of tours do you offer?
We offer private wine tours, corporate group tours, regional explorer tours, and Kangaroo Valley experience tours, which focus on regional Australia’s nature, wildlife, and countryside.
How long do the tours typically last?
Most of our tours last a full day, typically around 6 to 8 hours (plus travel time). However, we also offer half-day and multi-day tours that can be customised.
What is included in a Vino Rosso tour?
Our tours include transportation, visits to selected wineries, tasting fees and optional activities such as wildlife viewing or sightseeing in the region. Some tours may include lunch (such as our nature-based tours), and some may include light refreshments. We will confirm on your itinerary what is included in your tour.

How do I book a tour with Vino Rosso Tours?
For our social tours (where you can join an existing tour), and our nature experiences –Â you can book directly online via our website. For private group tours or corporate tours contact us via the website, email or telephone and we can discuss options.
Can I customise my tour experience?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on creating unique, tailored experiences. Whether you want a private wine tour, a scenic regional journey, or a blend of both, we’ll work with you to craft the perfect day.
What group sizes do you cater to?
We cater to both small and large groups as well as individuals or couples that would like to join our social tours.
Do you offer tours for corporate events or special occasions?
Yes! We offer customised corporate group tours and can help organise tours for birthdays, anniversaries, hen parties, and other special events.
How far in advance do I need to book a tour?
We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance, especially during peak seasons. However, if you’re planning a larger event, such as a corporate tour or celebration, booking further in advance is advisable.
We also welcome groups to contact us for most tours up until the day prior (depending on availability).
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer a flexible cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the tour will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Which wineries do you visit on your wine tours?
We work closely with a range of boutique and well-known wineries in the Southern Highlands. Some of our partners include Centennial Vineyards, Joadja Estate, and Bendooley Estate, among others.
Can we taste wine at each stop?
Yes, wine tastings are included at each of the wineries we visit. Some wineries may be a lunch only stop depending on group size.
Do you offer food pairings during your wine tours?
Yes, we can arrange food pairings such as gourmet lunches, platters, or tastings that complement the wines, offering a more immersive culinary experience.
Do you cater to dietary restrictions or preferences on your food and wine tours?
Absolutely. We can cater to various dietary preferences or restrictions such as vegetarian, gluten-free, or dairy-free. Just let us know your requirements when booking.
Are children allowed on your food and wine tours?
Yes, children are welcome, though our wine tours are typically adult-focused. We can customise family-friendly options, and some wineries also offer non-alcoholic drinks and activities for younger guests.

Our Kangaroo Valley tours provide a scenic journey through lush valleys and rolling hills, with opportunities to see Australian wildlife like kangaroos, wombats, and native birds. We also include stops at local farms, artisan producers, and picturesque lookouts.

Transport & Logistics
How do I get to the Southern Highlands from Sydney or Canberra?
The Southern Highlands is an easy 1.5-hour drive from both Sydney and Canberra. We can also provide transport options if you prefer not to drive. You are also able to catch regular trains from Sydney to the Southern Highlands (Bowral, Mittagong, & Moss Vale – being the main stations).
Do you provide transport to and from Sydney or Canberra?
Yes, we can offer transport options from Sydney, Canberra, and surrounding areas, however this may only be available on certain days or group sizes. Generally, we are happy to include transport from within 1 hour of the Southern Highlands.
What transportation is used during the tours?
We use comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles, minibuses, depending on the group size. Larger groups are accommodated in spacious buses.

Is there a dress code or anything I should bring to the tour?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, especially if you’re participating in a nature tour.
Don’t forget a hat and sunscreen for outdoor activities. If you’re doing a wine tour, smart casual attire is perfect. We also recommend bringing warm clothing (as the Southern Highlands notoriously experiences a wide range of temperatures).
